PARKROYAL on Pickering Photo Connection contest - 1st place winner
This came as a surprised on 5th April 2013 when I was informed by a friend that I have won first place in the photography contest. I never thought I will win but still I am very happy that I did :) Below is a short passage written in description of the entry image.
"It is a refreshing change to see a stylish hotel consists of unique
symmetry of shapes & lines with beautiful mirrored surface in the
heart of Chinatown. The incorporation of nature and the infinity pool
really give us the sense of relaxation & freedom amidst the fast
paced city life. This image of mine captured a passing pigeon with
the cage-like gazebo at the infinity pool, illustrating the freedom we
experienced when staying in ParkRoyal on Pickering."

The Top 100 of the Trieste Tattoo Challenge
Organized by EyeEm, Raffaele Cavicchi and the
GoodFellas, the Trieste Tattoo Challenge ran over 6 weeks to collect
shots of tattoos from all over world. 100 of the submitted shots were
exhibited at one of the biggest tattoo conventions in Europe, the Trieste Tattoo Expo in Trieste, Italy, from November 16-18 2012.
A very big thanks and much gratitude to the organizors for selecting mine to be 1 of the only 100 images to be exhibited at the Expo. Glad to be a part of it.

Mobile Love Exhibition's Honorable Mention
The above work of mine has received an honorable mention and will be exhibiting at the MLOVE Exhibition, which takes place in a castle near Berlin, Germany, from 27-29 June 2012. It's really an honor to be chosen as 1 of the 280 images to be exhibited there (out of a total of 3131 images submitted from 51 countries).
This is also the 1st time that my work has been exhibited overseas. Thank you Eyeem for organizing this exhibtiion, as well as the opportunity for me to be a part of it.

iPhoneart.com Artist Of The Day
I was featured as Artist Of the Day 26th May 2011 by iPhoneArt.com despite only having joined the community earlier that month with just a handful of images uploaded. In fact the above images are all that I have in there at the time of being featured (they are all selected images from the series Depeche Mode Visual Album). Greatly appreciated!
Due to being featured, I noticed the cover of Dangerous (Sensual Mix) has become 1 of the most popular images in the site during that period.

'WAITING' Premiere Screening's Exhibition
The above image was exhibited at the 'WAITING' Premiere Screening on the 6th of January, at the Open Stage of the library@esplanade. It was among the 100 images that were selected out of a total of the 380 submission. 'WAITING' is a 10-episode photo-audio mini series which is compiled into a DVD, an exhibition, and a fund –raising community project by Emily Haw.

ScratchCam's Weekly Featured
The Thinker from the series An Hour in Rochor was featured in ScratchCam's weekly five flickr faves of 13th December 2011. The effect of every images in this series was created using the ScratchCam app for the iPhone.

SIN: A Singapore Instagram Exhibition
The above 5 images were exhibited in the event SIN: A Singapore Instagram Exhibition at the National Library of Singapore on the 17th September to 30th October 2011. I am very honored that these 5 were among the 150 images selected, from a total of over 8000 images!
In addition, I was also invited to give a short talk at the masterclass during the opening night, as well as a more eloborated talk during the closure of the exhibition. The 2nd talk has been made into a visual slide show which can be found at the SIN:Presentation section of this site.
