Subconsciously, everyone is protesting against something.
In
photography, there are those who are against mobile photography to be a
legitimate form of photography or art form. Of course those who got
denied will fight for their rights. But one funny thing I've learnt is
that some of these people who've got denied are in turn denying desktop
photoshop to be a legitimate editing tool. The reason is being mobile
photography should consist of things done only within the mobile tools. So it's like slapping their own face because if this is the reason, then
others could well said that photography should be done only with a
'real' camera and not from a phone.
Another thing I've learnt is that
everything is valid in their own rights. So to me, all these 'protests'
are quite redundant. They're dividing people up to take sides, instead
of gathering all to share how nice the end product, the pictures can be.
For me, I'll use whatever that'll make my picture looks nice and that's
all it matters.
